A Re'cup'...

Just to give you all an overview of the comments on the mini coffee shop ‘test’. It seems that Vida e Caffe, Seattle, Woolies came out strong amongst those of you kind enough to comment. What is sad, and something that I had pretty much predicted, is that there seems to be a serious lack of little boutique coffee shops worth noting? Is this a gap in the market for a quality niche product...? There was only one post from Durban that had a few names that weren't national...

Sure there are many coffee shops out there, but very few could challenge the strong brands mentioned by all of you as far as experience goes. Lets hope that changes soon……. niches are important!
Keep me posted if you find anything worth noting as an experience. Cool!…. [Hot..whatever!]

C'mon you cant be serious ! So what's the commission you get from pushing the noisy red guys, logo and all ? An extra one of those buy 10 get one free cards ?

Discount coffee can never be the best.

Its a love affair this brand loving thang!! I will be the brands best advocate until I feel it is no longer authentic and betrays my trust! I therefore have NO problem punting Vida! Experiences are very personal (just as well, can you imagine how boring life would be otherwise!)
I receive NO COMMISSION @ all! Sorry to disappoint! Love the loyalty thing...it wouldnt be a love affair without the loyalty darlin!

Your'e not serious ! Love and Loyalty in terms of a brand ?... The only thing those two words have in commom in brand content is the letter "L"

Sticks and stones !!!

But on a more serious note, there are two VL that I pass in CTN, the one is a buzz, the second is deadly quiet. I guess it all comes back to the old adage of location, location location..

Can a buy you a decent cup of coffee one day ?
