Zero Tolerance my backside!!!
After listening to the oke from the Metro police on 702 going on about zero tolerance this morning [even applying to taxis] you would think the heavy handed approach would be 'general' festive season standard...RIGHT? WRONG! These images are from the same spot that the arrest incident happened .. these are from the morning of the court case 15 November 07!
Images not so good, 2 many and 2 big... but you get the drift..In Image 7 the Metro police stand an look on whilst this whole affair takes place under their noses... any arrests???NOT!

I would suggest you forward this to Wayne Minnaar from metro police, and to 702 so that the next time they speak to these monkies and they claim zero tolerance against ALL offenders they can prove otherwise.

To Graeme's point [in the previous post] about doing something other than talk, I agree... any suggestions welcome...I blog and open discussion.... not sure what else to do...
Good photos Candice. Like Paul I agree with the Metro Police being more "in your face" but I must also say that they must be fair and not try to intimidate the public.
Have you noticed how the traffic in the morning suddenly goes from bad to hardly moving when the Metro Police decide to park off on the side of the road. I think its a direct result of the intimidation.
